東華大學為協助因疫情影響，以致於失業、減班等，致使生活緊迫的境外學生，特設立此紓困方案，以減輕求學的生活壓力。請先詳閱附件申請辦法後進行後續申請作業。
一、申請資格 (三項皆必須符合)
1. 本校在學境外生，於2021年秋季班繼續就讀者，並持有效居留證。
2. 於2021年2月1日起，境外學位生本人或是家長，因疫情影響，以至於失業、無薪
假、減班…等，造成家庭經濟發生困頓。
3. 於2021年2月1日起，未領取以下獎學金、救助金、在校工讀金者
外交部臺灣獎學金、教育部臺灣獎學金、教育部新南向培英專案、科技部補助大學校院培育優秀博士生獎學金、國際高等人力培訓外籍生獎學金 (ICDF) 、國立東華大學外國學生獎學金生活津貼、國立東華大學南向獎學金、國立東華大學博士班外國學生菁英獎學金、國立東華大學學生急難救助金、教育部僑生優秀研究所獎學金、教育部僑生清寒獎學金、僑務委員會受理僑生捐贈獎學金、國立東華大學新生僑生獎學金等政府或學校有提供生活津貼之獎學金。
二、助學金金額與名額
每名新臺幣6,000元，總計200名。
三、申請方式

2. 上傳文件：
(1) 在學證明
(2) 居留證 (正、反面)
(3) 存摺封面或銀行卡 (正面)
(4) 學生減班、無薪假或失業證明 (請向雇主申請，格式不拘。)
(5) 家長減班、無薪假或失業證明 (請提供中文或英文版)
上傳文件中的第(4)及第(5)請至少擇一提供
四、申請日期
第一梯次自校長簽呈核定後，申請期間為期兩周。
第二梯次為第一梯次截止後再續受理兩週。
(兩梯次實際日期經核定後再行公告)
五、通知與撥款方式
因名額有限，將由國際處進行審核，審核結果將以學校電子郵件通知並進行後續核發作

International students in Taiwan or their parents who face financial pressure by pandemic due to fewer shifts or the loss of their jobs. NDHU are therefore providing the following relief packages to help you get through tough times.
【Eligibility】
1. International students who are currently enrolled in NDHU, studying in 2021 Fall Semester and have valid ARC
2. Since 1st of February, 2021, students and their parents are received less shifts, put on unpaid leaves or lost job because of pandemic.
3. Since 1st of February, 2021, students who aren’t awarded the following scholarships or get emergency allowances or wage from NDHU:
MOFA Taiwan Scholarship, MOE Taiwan Scholarship, Elite Scholarship Program, Scholarship Pilot Program to Cultivate Outstanding Doctoral Students, TaiwanICDF International Higher Education Scholarship, Living Allowance Scholarship for Foreign Students, NDHU Southward Scholarship, NDHU Scholarship for Elite Ph.D. Students Award, NDHU Emergency Allowances, Outstanding Overseas Chinese Student Scholarships, Grants for Overseas Chinese Students in Financial Need, OCAC Donor Award for Overseas Chinese Student Scholarships, NDHU Overseas Chinese Student Scholarships and the scholarships from the government or school that provide living allowances

NT$6,000/per student, Total: 200 students

a) Certificate of Student Status
b) ARC (both front and back side)
c) Bank Book or VISA card (front side)
d) Student’s proof of reduced work hours or termination of employment (Provided by employer in any format in English or Chinese version)
e) Parent’s proof of reduced work hours or termination of employment (in any format in English or Chinese version)
*NOTE: Please provide at least one of d) and e) in the uploaded file.
【Application Period】
The first application period lasts for two weeks after the school’s approval
The second application will last another two weeks after the end of the first application.
(The actual date of two applications will be announced after being approved)
【Notification】
Due to the limited quotas, the application will be reviewed by Office of International Affairs. The results will be notified by school email.
